Status Update...

Today has been a great day for the most part. Isaac continues to hold steady as they've weaned him off the Dopamine (blood pressure medication) & have decreased his ventilator settings to strengthen his lungs. One glitch has occurred with his bowel as he's spit up several times today. They've taken X-rays to determine the cause for this. After extubation, the greatest hurdle towards discharge from the hospital is the ability to feed on his own, so please pray that this stomach issue resolves itself. They've halted feeding of breastmilk via the NG tube until the cause of these nausea spells can be determined. Other than that, Isaac's doing great! Hopefully, he'll be extubated tomorrow. So continue to pray for his diaphragm issue & now his stomach as well. Thanks!

As for pictures:: I'm experiencing some technical difficulties w/the server as far as uploading pics to the blog. I'll have plenty for you once I'm able to upload again. :)

Isaiah 12:2 says, "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation." We put our trust in the Great Physician, & we know that Isaac is the palm of His hand. God's timing is perfect. You all are in our thoughts & prayers.

Isaac is hidden with CHRIST in GOD. He is head and not tail, above always and never beneath. He is a holy nation seperated by GOD for good works. His strength has already ministered to us. GOD is a God of wonders, strength, mercy, power and love. HE loves us and cares for us. We will coninue to pray for "Laughter". He is a joy, blessing and a miracle of GOD

Hey Patience and Jordan,

I've just gotten to read through your blog since Isaac's surgery and seen his pictures for the first time today. What a handsome fellow he is. Thank you guys so much for your testimony each day. I know God is so proud of you both and how you are leaning and relying on Him. Your testimony is also so valuable to all of us who read it and are reminded how good God is and how faithful He is. So thanks for sharing your heart with us each day. We love you and are praying with you each day.

Patience,
I pray everyday that you will be able to hold and rock that little boy to sleep in his own home very soon. Your faith in this challange is an inspiration to me and to my family. As mother's, we have such a gift in our children. God has blessed us with such an important role in the life of his Kingdom. Baby Issac is a gift from God. Your little boy has touched more lives in just a few short weeks than most will in a lifetime. God is working miracles through you and your child.
We love you and our prayers are with you.
