We just spoke with the doctor's and did not get the news we wanted to hear. In brief, they've "turned over every rock" they can think of and cannot figure out why he is not stabalizing. There are many things happening, as noted in the previous blog, but because his body is not releasing enough CO2, his blood is very acidic...to the point that he could pass away at any minute due to acid poisoning.
Psalm 23:4, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
We ask that you pray... pray hard. Our desire is for Isaac to be healed, but above all, pray that God's will would be done and that He would be glorified in Isaac's life and through this situation. We know that God has a great plan for his life, however long or short it may be. Patience and I know God has used Isaac to impact many parts of the world. We are very proud Isaac and of his fight thus far.
Please pray.

Words do not begin to express what is in my heart for you all. May the Holy Spirit comfort you and give you strength during this difficult time. Praying for a miracle with you all.
If we can help in any way, please let us know.
Yesterday, I went back to the beginning of your blog and read every post. Your painful journey weighs heavily on my heart. As difficult as my pregnancies were, I cannot even imagine how you're feeling. I spent most of last night praying for you but especially for Isaac. His situation was at the forefront of my mind all day long. I just read the last two posts. Now, not only can I not stop crying, I'm praying even more for Isaac and will continue to do so.

I am and will continue to pray for you and your family. It is truly a blessing to be a part of your journey, Isaac has and will continue to bring glory to our lord and savior, may his will be done.
I pray that GOD's perfect peace wraps itself around your family and that you continuously feel HIS presence holding you all. That you feel HIS warm embrace. That you are consumed by HIM at this moment. That he burns deep inside of you, reassuring you that he is in control and always has been. Isaac has touched my life and the lives of many of us at C3. We love him for it.
I am so sorry your family is going through this. I just found your blog today. As a mom, my heart is breaking for you.
I am praying Isaac finds his miracle.
You sound like awesome parents and Isaac is proud of both of you and knows how much you love him.
Patience and Jordan,
I have passed your house everyday in hopes that I'd see you both with your precious little one enjoying the beautiful weather outdoors with floods of visitors coming and going. I know you haven't lost your Faith, and Isaac has not lost his fight. God is with you all. If anyone deserves a miracle, it is your family. I am heartbroken for you, but praying that God has a miracle in store for the three of you. I am in awe of the Faith you have had thusfar, and of the comfort you have found through your relationship with God. I am scared for you, but I have seen what God wants us to do in times of trouble through reading your blog. You have given me a new perspective of the true meaning of Faith, Love, Hope, and the Power of Jesus Christ....He is with you, and He is holding Isaac in His arms....don't grow weary...lean on each other and believe together that God is in control and He will see you through. You and Isaac are certainly in our prayers...

Yes, I agree, may God's optimal sovereign will be done for Baby Isaac. Father God, thank You that healing is the children's bread. We together agree that You will be in control of this precious child's situation. Please give the doctors wisdom and sustain all those who are there. We trust You. All thanks and praise to You. Send ministering angels to be with Baby Isaac and his parents. In Jesus' mighty Name, amen.

Jordan & Patience, there are so many standing with you in this time. you are loved so much. we are each of us in our own way lifting you up before the Lord. I love you so much, and my heart is so heavy for you. i wish i could be there with you tonight, to hold you close, to walk with you through this valley, and be able to carry some of the burden. but i am thankful that there is One who is always present, who loves you even more than I. though the mountain tops are great, the valleys are the greenest, lushest places, overflowing with Life. I pray that as you walk through this valley you will find a deeper, sweeter, more intimate walk with Christ than you have ever known, that while clinging tightly to Him, He will make Himself known more & more to you.
love, your sister,
both on earth & in the heavenly places,

Jordan & Patience...
I have read your blog entires and prayed for your family. I don't even know you, but I know Kim. I have been following this for the past month...and praying too. I am so humbled to read what you write in these blogs. I can only hope that my faith would be as strong if I were in your shoes. What an affect you've had on me personally...just reading your journal, and seeing the Lord's hand work, and your faith so evident by your words and actions...it's brought me to tears. Several times. It makes me take a closer look at my own walk with God, and hope that I can be more like you both.
I sincerely hope that things turn around for your sweet boy. I can't even imagine the pain you are in as you watch him struggle. As parents we would gladly trade places...and it breaks our hearts.
Know that lots of us are lifting you up in prayer...thank you for sharing so much, and being so vulnerable in your writings. What a testimony!

Jordan and Patience,
Holly, me, and the boys have been praying for you and Isaac. Aaron prayed that Isaac's kidneys get better, and Trey hoped that the orange teddy bear in the blog pictures give Isaac comfort to where he's not sick anymore.
We pray for a miraculous healing, and that God will guide you through this. I have sent out prayer requests out for you and Isaac across the country today. You are much loved and prayed for during this difficult time.
You are in our continued prayers. Remember that God is still in control.
God Bless,

Jordan and Patience,
Your precious little baby has touched so many lives and so many people have been praying for him and you. We prayed tonight in the couples connect group for all three of you. We prayed for Isaac to be healed and for God's will to be done. You two have shown so many people what it is to have true faith in God and inspired so many lives. God be with you and we continue to pray for Isaac's miracle healing.
We Love you,
Jim and Carol
Through my many tears I am reading and fervently praying that Isaac will be healed. You guys have shown me what faith truly is supposed to be. My heart is truly breaking and struggling with this. But God is truly in control and miracles can and will happen no matter what. Holly
Psalm 121-

We are praying for you.

Jordan & Patience,
As I read your blog, my face streamed w/ tears, I couldn't help but think how amazing you both are. Even as you are given this update on your precious little boy, your faith in God remains strong. As we have followed your pregnancy and Isaac's life, you have been a true testament to me and so many others (I'm sure). We prayed continuously yesterday and will continue to do so. We are their with you in spirit and take comfort in knowing that God has all of you in the palm of His hand.
1 John 5:14
And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us.

I am so moved by your love and faithfulness in GOD. As I've read your blog and spoken w/ a family member, I've been brought closer to our Lord. I wanted to share this in order that however small it might seem to you in these tough times, God is being glorified and hearts changed by your precious little one and by your faith, love, and perseverence. Continue in His strength.... The angels are around him and smile as they see the love he has around him....all around the U.S.
I'm praying for you and yours.....
Our hearts break for you both and as the tears roll down our face we find ourselves not knowing what to say. God is in control, we are praying for you both and Baby Isaac & know how much we all love you. Isaac is truly a precious gift from God! I have been and am continuing to pray for the 3 of you. God's Will will be done. In one month Isaac has already touched more lives than most of can hope to do in a lifetime. Your faith along this journey is a testimony so strong that only God can get the Glory. As members of C3 we love you all.
Patience & Jordan,
It was so good to get an email from you the other day. You and Isaac are in my prayers constantly - day and night. I'm praying right now for a miracle if that's God's will at this time. Praise God that He's in control and will do what's best for your family. I will send out your request to all I know to have them praying as well. God Bless!
Jordan and Patience,
Your faith is inspiring. I sit and read the news on Isaac's condition everyday. My heart is breaking. I know that we do not question God's plan and it bring's into perspective how he ached watching his son struggle on the cross.
This story of Isaac's struggle has reached many people outside of our church family. I want you to know that because you have shared this with us, you have given hope to so many people out there who may not know God until now.
Our love and prayers will continue on with your family. May God bless you all. Janie

My heart sank this morning as I logged on to read how you and your sweet boy were doing. You and your family are in my constant prayers.

23: Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering for "he who promised is faithful.

Your precious Isaac and both of you are being lifted to God's throne of grace for HIS mercies are new everyday. Your constant persevering faith in our Lord Jesus is a testimony to all of us of your deep roots grounded in Him.

Jprdan and Patience,
People from around the world are on their knees before a Holy God today awaiting His response to our pleadings. May the love of a compassionate and merciful God hold you today as you sit in His presence. May he give you strength to continue this marathon to the end, whatever that may be. If for no other reason I pray God would look on you with mercy in His heart and let us keep baby Isaac here on earth for years to come.
Praying for life to swallow up death.

Pai and Jordan,
We are praying for little Isaac and for you both. When asking one of our missionaries to pray for you all, she wrote back the following.
"I'm praying without any words. Words are just inadequate to express the depth of the emotions Patience and Jordan must be feeling not to mention the
extreme physical needs that Isaac has. Romans 8:26 says that the Spirit will pray with groans that words cannot express. That verse always encourages me."
God is good, all the time...sometimes His defination of healing is different than ours. Sometimes the way HE moves, provides, and comforts is different that how we expect.

We just want to wrap our arms around you and squeeze! We are praying hard!
We're praying for baby Issac and your family every day.
Continue to stand and believe. I know that we serve a mighty God. Jesus bore stripes for us and declared our healing the day he was crucified. We do not have to accept anything else.
I can't wait to hear the good news of Isaac's clean bill of health. Our prayers go up as incense before the Lord and He is FAITHFUL to answer the prayers of His people.
Stay encouraged. It is wonderful to see what God can do.
all i can think of at this moment is the three of you & your families. as i'm @ work, the "revelation" song comes on & i remember patience fervently worshipping our loving Father.....
"holy, holy is the Lord, God almighty
who was and is, and is to come
with all creation i sing
praise to the King of kings
you are my everything
and i will adore you
filled with wonder, awestruck wonder
at the mention of Your name
Jesus, Your name is power, breath and living water
such a marvelous mystery"
Philippians 2:9-11
"9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father."
nothing more i can really say, just know that all of this is for the glory of God the Father, our Maker & Creator, the Lover of our soul. isaac, just a month old, is changing the world, a true WORLD CHANGER!
