Line access achieved...

After several attempts & three hours of work, Dr. Joyner was able to successfully open a port in the subclavian vein (below the left clavical). So Isaac with be able to continue receiving the necessary meds through this new port. Thank you, Lord, for making a way! Our prayer now is for no new clots to develop & a successful extubation tomorrow. Continue also to pray for protection against infection. God is teaching us so much about strength in waiting. More to come on that soon...

Thank you all for your continued prayers. Each step brings us a bit closer to bringing home our sweet boy!

Prayer is answered!! Soon the day will be here that you all 3 can come home!! I am sure that some days the hours just drag on and on, but your faith is so awesome and Issac is such a fighter that some day this will all be a memory. I have everyone I work with and many other churches keeping you all in our prayers. I pray for the day that we can see you back at C3. It was such a joy to see Jordan this morning. Thank you so much for keeping us updated. I probably check your blog 20 times a day. Patty and Jim

Dear Patience and Jordan,

Both my church, Twin City Fellowship and my partners and staff at my company continue to pray for Isaac at each step on this already incredible adventure for this little warrior. This blog site really helps them know how he is progressing and that he is not just another statistic, but a real live human life - one of God's precious little ones...We will continue to look to Jesus, the author and sustainer of Isaac's and all our lives.

God Bless,

Uncle Bob

Psalms 31:24 "Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord."
We praise God for each answered prayer concerning Issac. We look forward to the day that this little warrior is running around C3. We will continue to pray. Thank you for being such an inspiration for so many people.

Patience & Jordan,
We admire your faith and strength and it is a wonderful testimony to each of us. Thanks for sharing the precious photos of your beautiful baby boy Isaac. He is simply adorable! I can only imagine how long and difficult each day is and want you to know that we are praying for you many times throughout each day. Thank God that He knows exactly each of Isaac's needs and He will be faithful to provide them. May God strengthen you both and renew your faith with each answered prayer. Sweet little kisses to OUR baby Isaac. He is truly a gift from God for all of us. We can't wait to see him strong & running around C3. Much love, Lynn & Ronnie

We continue to pray for your family daily and are so excited to read how God is answering the many prayers prayed on Isaac's behalf. We have personal friends and family that don't go to C3 asking how baby Isaac is and checking your blog to know how to pray! Patience, your son is blessed to hear that beautiful singing voice of yours soothing him, I am sure.
Ps. 62:8 Amplified version: "Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah {pause, and calmly think of that}!

Our Isaac prayer today is extubation and no clotting. We continue to follow his progress through your blog. Thank you Patience for taking the time to keep us informed. I think it's important to be specific in our prayers and you have allowed us to do that. I read your blog on a regular basis. May God continue to amaze us all with His grace and mercy as He uses the doctors to give Isaac all he needs, as he needs it. God is so awesome. May God continue to bless you and Jordan with peace and His presence. Thanks for the pictures of Isaac and his progress. We can see strength in his little angelic face--he has a loving God and a loving family. Rick and Shelia

We are praying that the extubation process will work well today as well as no clots and protection against infection.

Glad to hear they were able to open up a new port and your prayers are being answered!

Patience, I thank you for the update. I pray for a good week.I have many friends and customers who are anxious for each daily update. Baby Leino reminded me of a basketball pic of the Basilica of St Mary 8th Grade Team. My dad was their team captain seated center & holding the ball. Bob Roddy told me many times how he had to be ready to fight his way to and from school everyday! You see dad lived with his widowed mother, May, above a brothal, half a mile from the Cathedral School, in one of Minneapolis's toughest neighborhoods. Those were his early years and he never forgot it. He coached my sports teams & we watched the "Friday Night Fights" together.Bob Roddy's constant was don't ever give up! Baby Leino is in the fight of his life daily, too.
