6:30pm Update

Here's the latest on our sweet Isaac:

God has been working today in ways that the doctors can't explain. His CO2 levels have come back down to the relatively safe range (from the 120's+ to the 40's) & his pH is now in the normal range as well. His kidney levels have also begun to move in the right direction. Through the night, Isaac's heart rate fluxed between 90 & 200. He has been holding relatively steady for the past several hours in the safe range.

Isaac remains our medical enigma. Everyone continues to scratch their heads with how he has responded, both negative & positive aspects. Prayer is powerful!! Even the doctors have said, "miracles do happen" (this coming from those who didn't expect him to make it through the night). Praise God! So he is more stable than last night, but far from being out of the water yet. Things still causing the doctors to be concerned are his lactate & potassium levels have begun to escalate for unexplainable reasons and he is still retaining a lot of fluid in his tissues. They also remain uncertain as to the reasons causing last night's difficulties. Isaac continues to keep us all on our toes.

Thank you all for your passionate prayers for our family & overwhelming support. We are still taking this moment by moment, thanking God for each bit of progress & laying Isaac at His feet with each set back.

I am a friend of Corinne's at LU. I have known about and been praying for your baby boy since before he was born. All day today I was extremely burdened for Isaac and your family. You all did not leave my mind. I will continue to ask God to pour out his love and mercy on all of you. Isaac is one strong boy and I am encouraged by his life.

Praise God! What a blessing He is in times of trouble. Issac has been blessed with such strength, strength that only comes from our Lord, as is the strength you both display as parents. Your faith is absolutely inspiring.
We will continue to pray every moment for Isaac, and that God grant his doctors wisdom, and you both great peace.

God is good!! I have been praying to God today that he would use Isaac as a testimony to the many doctors, interns, nurses and many others that hear his story and will hear of how awesome our God is. There will be no other way to explain Isaac's recovery and his growth into a healthy boy and young man.

Thank you both so much for allowing us to be on this journey with you. You are reaching so many people with so many different messages all grounded in the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We will all continue to pray without ceasing.

In Christ's Love,
Faith-Renee

God has claimed this child and so should we. God has power that no doctor can explain and that is the glory of GOD!!!!

We claim that GOD is working his healing power on this tiny present from his love.

May God give you the strength to have the true faith of healing, In HIS name.

Then your light will break forth like the dawn,
and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness [or righteous one] will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.

Then you will call,
and the LORD will answer;
you will cry for help,
and he will say: Here am I.

Isaiah 58:8-9

We will continue praying.

Jordan and Patience,
Jay and I have been praying for your sweet baby since before he was born, and we will continue to pray. The teachers and children at Bell Shoals Baptist Academy are praying also. (Even though just a few of them were here when Jordan was a Kindergarten student. They know and love his nieces Becky and Sarah.) We read your blog daily and are drawn closer to the Lord as we hear your heart and go to the Lord in agreement with you. God is using your sweet boy in many, many ways. We praise God for all he is doing and all he has yet to complete.

I knew this moment would come! Like I said in my last response, God is going to use Isaac in a mighty way and the enemy has tried his darndest to stop it.

I am absolutely elated over this. Isaac is coming home - whole and completely healthy. I am so very happy for both of you, and of course for that precious little angel.

We will continue to praise God for the victory.

"Praise God from whom all blessings flow...." how so true this is!!! Just as your son's namesake was brought to the brink of death and all seemed lost, Abraham's love for God and his faithfulness never faltered, and God rewarded that faithfulness with blessings and a legacy beyond our human understanding. Your faithfulness and love for God are so clear for all to see, and God is there for your Isaac too! We will continue to follow your leadership, Jordan and Patience, and will stay the course for God!!! I heard of Isaac's declne while sitting alone in my own hospital room, in pain, but praising God for blessing me with healing after emergency surgery of my own on Sun night. I prayed and prayed and prayed for Isaac throughout the night, as many others have and are! My progress has gone faster than anyone expected, and I was allowed to come home today, and couldn't wait to check on you guys, fearing the worst, but knowing in my heart God was not done with Isaac yet! We love you all!

Although you are all still in my deepest prayers, I am so very happy that Isaac has improved. I believe that I am reading about a miracle unfolding. Thank you for the privilege of being able to share this with you and so many others. You are the first genuine witnesses for Christ that I have ever known and it has changed my life. Thank you for being such an awesome example of faithfulness. Again, I will continue to add my prayers to the thousands of others.

Dear Issac,
If you only knew how your tiny body and your BIG HEART has touched so many lives. You are truly a miracle from GOD and your fight proves that. I'm amazed at your faith and your will. If only I could have an ounce of that, boy what I could accomplish. Your parents are the most incredible people I have ever known. Their faith is bountiful and pure. You are truly blessed to be placed in their loving arms. I pray for you and your parents everyday and I hope that you will prove all those test and Doctors wrong. You are like a beacon of light coming from a lighthouse - You can see the shore but the path is very rocky!!! Keep sailing Isaac, keep sailing. Jordan and Pateince you are ALWAYS IN OUR PRAYERS.

Praise His Name!
Ps. 139:13-16
"For you created Isaac's inmost being; you knit him together in his mother's womb. I praise you because Isaac is fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that FULL WELL. Isaac's frame was not hidden from you when he was made in the secret place. When Isaac was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw his unformed body. All the days ordained for Isaac were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Praying and Praising along with you-

Praise God...How great is our God has been playing in my head all day. I stayed home from work today so I could keep up with Isaac's progress and to be with my children right now. People are praying all over the world.
God has his hands on Isaac and he is cradled in the arms of Jesus.
We are sending our love.

I don't wanna box you in
You've been doing big things since the world began
Sometimes I just don't understand
that you're big enough
But you're big enough Jesus

You turned darkness into light
keep my lamp burning
And you are my everything
There's no denying, your love is so amazing
And even though my problems seem typical
Nothing for you is ever too difficult
You never have reservations
love without limitations

And I don't wanna box you in
You've been doing big things since the world began
Sometimes I just don't wanna believe
That you're big enough
but you're big enough yeah!

God continue to wow us! We are amazed by your power! Your family continues to be in our prayers!
