Update...

As of 5p, Isaac's blood sugars have continued to flux throughout the day & his lactate continually climb. He began the morning with a lactate of 2.1, moving to 3.6 by 1p. Between 1p & 3p, it has jumped to 5.7 for reasons unknown to us. His resting heartrate has also been elevated in the 170's. We are concerned as we still don't know why his lactate climbs to such high levels (remember, normal range is 0.0 to 1.2). Our prayer is for Isaac to not continue trending upwards. For now, all we can do is wait & see...

My prayers are with you and Isaac. As so many others have said, your faith is a testimony to us all. I leave your blog up all day at work to look for updates. My heart hurts for your little boy as he battles his way back to good health. I will continue to pray for you all. Hoping you all come home soon. We miss you.

It was great to see you Sunday Jordan. We're ready for the rest of you to come home too. Take care and God Bless your Angel!

"equilibrium: the condition of a system in which competing influences are balanced"

Lord, we PRAY for equilibrium in Baby Isaac's body - for complete peace and total balance in his systems... Thank you for all You have accomplished thus far, by confounding the medical staff and proving once again that You are more mighty than modern medicine!

Help us, Lord, as we encourage Jordan and Pai... Please tighten Your grip as you encircle them with Your loving arms and give them strength and comfort. I pray that You even now begin revealing Your plan to them... for Isaac, for their finances... as I know the medical bills are piling up - but we KNOW who holds all of the answers to their needs in His mighty hand!!!
Thank you, Jesus!

My heart breaks when I read this.Little Isaac is such a strong boy. I wish he didn't have to struggle so much. God is working through him daily. There is a reason for this although we do not understand. I pray you are able to rest this evening. I pray that you will feel God's arms wrapped around you, comforting you through the night. I pray that sweet little Isaac will stabilize and rest peacefully as well. May the Lord guide the doctors and nurses as they care for baby Isaac. May the Lord give you strength and peace. Your faith is such a testimony to me. You are always in our thoughts and prayers!

God Bless You!

Isaac will be constantly lifted in prayer. He is going to come home, well and whole. There is a battle taking place here, however, Jesus is the victor. Isaac will make it through all this.

Dear Lord,
We again plead with you to heal baby Isaac. You are a good God all the time, so we know we can trust you even in these hard times. We do ask for grace and mercy for this precious little boy, and for peace for his parents. Please hear our prayers in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Oh Father, my heart starts to race whenever I hear of little Isaac struggling again. My heart grows heavy for Patience and Jordan. You, Lord may be the only one who knows why his lactate level continues to climb. Please Lord, give the doctors wisdom or clarity to understand why this keeps happening. Please touch Isaac's heart and lungs and liver and kidneys, ect. Give his body whatever it needs to fight any infection. Give his body your strength that raised you from the dead; that healed all who came to you in faith in the new testement. Take away any anxiety and fear Jordan and Patience must feel.

Once again Lord we climb to the top of the roof like the friends of the crippled man and we lower Isaac down into your arms and say, "Please, Lord, only you can do this miracle. Please heal him."

Lord, hear my prayer and the prayers of everyone who is praying for Isaac. Please help us all understand why his levels are so out of whack. He is a very strong child that we have all placed in your arms for healing. Please give the doctors the insight they need to help Isaac. Also give the whole Leino family the strength to get through the journey they are on. Bless them through the night, that we might receive good news tomorrow. Lord we all love you, and so many people have come to love Isaac through You, Patience, and this blog. Lord hear our prayers. Amen.
