3:45p Update

Lactate now 18. CT scan determined too risky so they are doing a sonogram on Isaac's abdomen right now. Extremities beginning to grow cold from poor circulation.

Jordan & I have the instrumental hymns album playing. Piano, cello, violin. Songs of our great God that we played at our wedding. We now play them to comfort our sweet boy & keep us grounded on the truth we know. It is well with our souls.

Sweet precious family-

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
that calls me from a world of care,
and bids me at my Father's throne
make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
my soul has often found relief,
and oft escaped the tempter's snare
by thy return, sweet hour of prayer!

I am pray the Lord cover you with peace and wisdom- I love you and am holding you up in prayer-

Father God, I lift Jordan, Patience, and Baby Isaac up to you in this moment of uncertainty and confusion. May Jehovah Rapha reach down and touch little Isaac and heal his little body. May Jehovah Shalom reign in that little PICU room. May the little angels that have cared for Isaac for these last 5 weeks carry him through this journey. May the peace that passes understanding shine through for Patience and Jordan. I ask in the name of Jesus for healing for this little family.

In Christ,

My prayer for little Issac:

God - Issac is yours. Every fiber of his being is yours, his spirit is yours, and his soul is yours. Nothing anyone does will change that. Please, let him heal, and strengthen him as he grows up. He could be a man for you, if you will let him live. If at all possible, let him live a healthy, vibrant life, full of purpose and wisdom. Overall, it's up to you. You've already worked this out in your mind, and what you want to happen will absolutely happen. Strengthen Jordan and Patience and renew them. Bond Jordan and Patience together, and sync their hearts with yours. Let it all happen your way!

According to God's Word - not the enemies lies - Isaac "shall live and not die and tell of the works of the Lord." I've had just about enough of the watching the enemy try to thwart the faith of Jordan, Patience and everyone praying for this baby.

This is a time for all Christians to take a stand against the enemy and blast him into oblivian. The ONLY reason why Isaac condition has "worsened" is because the enemy wants nothing more than to bring about discouragement and doubt. Satan knows he is fighting a losing battle, however, his disturbed mind refuses to accept defeat. TOO BAD!!!!

Isaac was brought into this world for a purpose. And he SHALL fulfill it. God's promise to us is to live a long life. Health and healing are for us to seize, not wonder about.

In John 14:12-14, Jesus said, "If you shall ask ANY THING in my name, I will do it." The prayers of literally hundreds of Christians across the U.S., Canada, Australia and other countries have been brought to the alter of God for Isaac's healing. We have asked, and God is faithful to perform that which we have petitioned.

Also, health and healing are God's desire for everyone. Not just one person here, and another there. God is not a respector of persons and his death on the Cross signifies that. If salvation is for everyone, so is healing. "By His stripes ye were healed."

James 5:14,15 says, "Is any sick among you? Call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise them up." This is the what the Word declares, and I am standing on it. Everyone who has responded to this blog has done just what this scripture states, therefore, Isaac shall be raised up.

If this is not enough to prove that the enemy is already the defeated foe, I don't know what is. Isaac is healed and is coming home. Satan just needs to take a back seat because God is the one in this driver's seat.

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
born of his Spirit, washed in his blood.

This is my story, this is my song,
praising my Savior all the day long;
this is my story, this is my song,
praising my Savior all the day long.

Perfect submission, perfect delight,
visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
angels descending bring from above
echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

Perfect submission, all is at rest;
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
watching and waiting, looking above,
filled with his goodness, lost in his love.

Here's a song I've been working on for such a time as this...based on James 5:13-16. It's in the 1st person, so pray it for Isaac:

The prayer of a righteous man
is powerful and effective,
and I know You'll execute your plan,
so I submit to Your objective.

Lord I ask in faith. I will not waiver. I trust you to meet my need.

Lord, you see my heart. You know my motives are pure. I trust you to meet my need.

Two or three have come together to ask it in your name.
The elders have called, they say
I'll never be the same.
We pray the prayer of faith,
asking you to make me well.
Please show yourself strong, Lord, so the world can tell...

That the prayer of a righteous man,
is powerful...and effective.

We love you guys...still praying.

What a joy it was tonight to hear our students so innocently lifting you guys up in prayer and praying for God's will to be done, we had a response from the students to pray for you all that even blew me with thier desire to intercede for Baby Isaac. The innocent prayers that were lifted with the asking of God's will to be done, all in agreement and desire for a healing for little baby was humbling and moving all at the same time. I am with you in prayer and thought, I wish I were there to lay hands on him and pray, let him know his heavenly father is in total control. We love you Guys.

We pray that our Father's healing touch comes upon little Isaac in his, and your, time of need. We pray that God be glorified through these things as they unfold. Its amazing how many people, both saved and unsaved, have been reached by God through this angel who can't even proclaim His Word aloud! Isaac has ministered to more people in these past few weeks than most of us have during our lifetime. What a blessed angel he is and what a proclaimer of the Word of God! We pray for healing and comfort for Isaac and for peace and rest for the two of you. And we pray that God be glorified above all.

I went to an ATF this past weekend. Some of the lyrics to the songs we had sang.

"Your strength oh Lord is mighy to save. Unfailing love and the power in your name oh Jesus."

"God of Glory, Lord most holy, Emanuel. Giver of life. Light of the world and there is no other name worthy of praise but Yours."

After this weekend I am praying for you guys more than I ever have. I believe that God has you all in His hands and He will NOT let You go. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is the rock that we lean on. His ways are not always our ways, but oh are they for His glory! I have no IDEA what you are going through. None whatsoever but as I was watching The Nativity Story tonight I thought of you. As I saw the strain on Mary as she was giving birth to Christ I thought of the strain you are going through. And my sister and I both were thinking the same thing because she said I'm going to check their blog. I believe God sees you and Jordan's strain and how much you are crying out to Him. I will continue to pray for you both more then ever. Keep the faith, because when we are at your weakest and at your most vulnerable there is when God works in us and around us more then ever.

I love you guys.

2 Cor 1:3-7 says:

The God of All Comfort:

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation, if we are comforted it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

You were in my thoughts and prayers all through the night. As I woke and searched God's word for answers I read the above scripture and it touched my heart. There was also a foot note: To follow Christ is to follow him into suffering - but we can be encouraged that God comes beside us to comfort and console, to strengthen and to guide. Paul maintains that suffering is the occasion for experiencing the comapssion of God.

I take comfort in knowing that God is holding each of you and comforting you during this time of suffering. Thank you for your updates and continuing to share your lives with us.

I woke up all night long and prayed for baby Isaac... This journey has been amazing for those of us who have been able to unite with a body of believers so much larger than our minds can fathom. We have become a part of coming before the throne of God with such a great throng of witnesses praying and interceding and I beleive God is hearing and moving.

My heart was so heavy yesterday... but after getting home and checking your blog and reading the "comments" and prayers I was overwhenlmed with a sense of power coming from heaven from a God who hears... and my faith has grown so much in understanding more who God really is through this.

Last night before I went to bed that heaviness was gone and my faith was soaring. I really believe God is moving and working and is going to do something great this side of heaven for the world to see.

When you guys are tired and worn out from lifting your hands to heaven we are here to hold your hands up. We will believe for you when you have lost all hope. I know you would never choose to go through this, but you have blessed the world so much in allowing all of us to go through this with you.

We are praying for God to strengthen his precious little body.

May the Peace of God overtake you and your son. May you know His love in new ways and His goodness in new depths.

God so loves you and His ways whatever that may be is always better, and higher then ours.

Continue to trust Him.

We're ALL continuing to pray for a miracle. God's will surpasses every one of our earthly desires and He alone is in control of this extreme situation. Trust in that solid TRUTH regardless of the outcome. We love you and hope that you find some peace in knowing how many people are joined together in His name on your behalf. We could only pray that God would give us the strength that you have right now.

Praying for and believing in healing but, above all, praying for God's will to be done and for the strength and peace to accept His plan, whatever that may be. There is a reason for every trial that we go through. Sometimes God gives us the ability to understand the reason for our trials. Other times God simply says, "I'll explain everything when you get home." And as hard as it may be, all we can do is press on, trusting Him.

Know that are so many prayers being sent up to heaven for you guys. One of my co-workers is a C3 member and had asked me to pray for Isaac. Your faith as demonstrated in your posting is so encouraging and inspiring! I pray that God will show up in a powerful way and snatch Isaac from the jaws of death. I am praying and will remain vigilent in prayer for your miracle!

In your name we pray, Amen. Have faith in the Lord Jordan & Patience. If there is anything we can do, please let us know. Love in Christ, the Willoughby family.

You don't know me but I am good friends with Anita Lewis. She shared your story with us last night. As we prayed for you and your precious little boy, my heart began to ache. I shared this story with my classroom of third graders this morning. There are no words right now, but just know that there is a classroom of third graders in Ft.Myers,FL that are sending up some powerful prayers right now.

Jordan & Patience,
We are praying tirelessly for Isaac's healing. And we pray that you and your families' hearts will remain strong in the spirit during this unknown valley. Isaac has been such a warrior for Christ already, and if it be His will, he will continue to live out his miraculous testimony. He has brought us all closer to each other in our homes, in our church, and across the globe. We pray for God's love and peace to pour out over you all like an endless waterfall giving you strength and comfort every step of the way.

In Christ,

the Papworths (Cory,Robin,Ali,Daniel)
