Game Plan

Its amazing to think that "home" is even in the discussions for Isaac's care now. Hopefully, if everything continues the course & Isaac doesn't throw us for any more loops, we'll be heading home in about a month or so! God is so faithful!

Goals for this week are as follows: establish full feeds through the GJ tube, transition to the home vent, & avoid infection. Join us in praying for these things. So far, Isaac is halfway to his goal feeds, but has spit up bile several times throughout today. We're currently working to determine the cause of this gag & reflux pattern.

Our strong boy is making progress, one baby step at a time. We praise God for all He has done in our lives & all He has yet to do.

I have come to this blog today, and for the first time I am speechless. I just can't think of anything to say. God is so awesome I am speechless. My son Austin (age 4) prayed this at dinner, "Thank you God for Baby Isaac and thank you that he will get to come home soon." I thought, you "name it and claim it baby!" Oh if we all had the faith of a child.

Oh Lord God, most powerful above all, we are so privileged to pray for Baby Isaac and to be a part of this miracle.

We pray that you would continue this amazing process and: establish full feeds through the GJ tube, transition Isaac to the home vent, & that you would protect his little body against any infection during this process. We also pray that you would lead the doctors to determine the cause of his gag & reflux pattern.

...and we just thank you and thank you and thank you for what you have given this family. We love you Lord!

Leino Family-
Just wanted to let you all know that my family and friends from church have been praying for you all. What a reminder that God still does miracles. Thank you so much for allowing us to share in the blessing that Issac is for your family. God is faithful and awesome! I get such a great high when I come here and read how GOd is working in the life of a 12 week old. Thank you again for the blessings you are to me and my fam. Love in Christ alone, Shawna and friends/fam in Tahlequah, OK

I am so happy to hear the great news that has developed over the past week! I have been following your story faithfully. It is funny how many similiar trials and hurdles both of our boys red haired, blue eyed boys have had to overcome in the past few months. I pray for you all everynight and know that God is holding you and Issac in the palm of His hand.

Praise The Lord!!!!! for the many miracles He has given to Isaac. This blog has taught us that God never gives up no matter what. Our God is so wonderful and amazing.
Lord, we come to You again to pray for Isaac. We pray for the establishment of full feeds, transition to the home vent, and no new infections. Most of all, a foward outlook towards home. We also pray for the much needed rest for Patience & Jordan, because when they do get to go home, their journey will begin all over again. Thank you Patience for your courage and love in our Lord, and for sharing your journey with us. No matter what part of the world we all are in, we are all your family in Christ. Baby Isaac has the best parents in the world, and your faith is so inspiring. Love and prayers to you all.
Always Praying,

Jordan and Patience,

I am SOOOOOOOOO very happy for you two. I know this has been one of the longest journeys the two of you have ever had to travel. However, you are also stronger in your faith and wiser. You have learned to trust God more deeply and you have advanced to a higher level in your understanding of the power of prayer and perseverance. You two have stood strong through it all - what a powerful witness you have been to the Body of Christ. I can only imagine what kind of damage Isaac is going to do to the kingdom of hell when it's his turn to strike - HALLELUJAH!
