Time for Prayer...

The past few weeks have been full & sweet, spending every possible moment & many sleepless nights with our sweet boy. Thank you all for your prayers for Isaac & our family as a whole. We've known God's peace in deeper ways than ever before.

Over the past 48 hrs, Isaac's health has rapidly declined (much like a snowballing effect). We've consulted every physician involved in his care & are doing all we can to support him. In spite of all this, he continues to decline. Our greatest concern is making Isaac as comfortable as possible. Join us as we pray for God's will to be manifest in his life, for total healing - one way or another - & above all, for peace & comfort for our boy. While we don't know how much time he has left, we are confident in the One who holds him firmly in His ever-loving hands.

We love you, sweet boy. We are so very proud of you.

Father ... I lift up Isaac to you. God, hold his little body in your hands. I lift up Jordan and Patience. Hold them in your arms as they make decisions that will affect his life, and their lives. Hold them closely and give them wisdom beyond measure. Give them peace through every decision and every step. Allow them to feel the love that surrounds them in prayer each day. And most of all, help them to have the strength to praise you in all things. In Christ, Amen

Crying and praying. These past few months of "journeying with you" has touched me deeply and there are no words. I pray for the strength to release Isaac into the Savior's hands if that is what He is choosing for him. I also pray that God work a miracle and heal him fully and completely. Not sure which way to pray...other than total healing the way GOD desires to give it.
Much love,
Melissa

I don't really know what to say. All I can do is assure you that all three of you, and your respective families, are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. Praying that you are given peace and strength, and that your beautiful boy Isaac, is comfortable and serene as you enjoy your precious time with him. Oh the lives you have touched, sweet, baby Isaac... and how your parents have been beacons of God's love and faithfulness since your mom found out she was pregnant...

Fight hard or fly to Jesus, precious one - either way, you will ALWAYS be in our hearts...

Love you all...

You guys have been through so much. Do realize what an amazing witness for the Lord you have been and continue to be. No matter what happens, little Isaac has had a tremendous impact on the world. More so in his short time here so far than many do in a long lifetime. I am still praying for a miraculous healing, but also for the peace of Christ to surround all three of you.

I'm a friend of Melissa's who has commented here today. I've been praying for your boy and your family. I'm so sorry you have to endure this but the courage, faith, and love for your Father you continue to show during this time is such a testiment to how great our God really is. As a Jewish person, your faith has taught me more about the Christian faith and Jesus then I ever knew. You demonstrate such grace, acceptance, peace and understanding. I pray that God's Will be done and for peace and comfort surrounding you in whatever His Will becomes.

In Godly love,
Allison Tomasek

You are amazing, little one. Thank you for being you...your sweet life has changed mine.

I will continue to lift you up. May you feel the strong, safe arms of your Father and may you find rest in the rhythm of His heart.

It's amazing to me that one so small and young has had such a large ministry. Much larger than most of us who have been on this earth so much longer. We will continue to pray....and God will continue to be God.

Thank you again for taking time away from your precious Isaac to blog and update us.
No words are adequate to express what I am feeling. My heart cries out to Our Father on your behalf. You have demonstrated first hand to all of us courage and strength and have allowed us the privilege and blessing to walk this journey with you. May the peace of God which transcends all our understanding, be yours today and always. May you be assured that God is watching over your baby Isaac as well. We are fasting and praying for total and complete healing.... God's way in God's time.
Loving you all,
BB

I am a mother of a son who at 2 days old recently went home to be with the Lord, and I can tell you that the Lord DOES provide that amazing strength, comfort, and peace. If the time comes when Jesus comes to take Isaac home, know that the peace that comes with knowing where he will be going, is awesome! There is no greater joy than a parent-child relationship, and that includes the one with our Lord. He knows how it feels to lose a son, and has so much compassion for us! I just praise Him that you feel him near by through all of this!
I pray that these moments with Isaac continue to be blessed with happiness and joy. With the Lord, the joy overshadows the pain!

Blessings my dear brother and sister!

We can honestly say we have never prayed for one person as much as we have for Isaac. We feel like he is a part of our family also. We will continue to keep Isaac in our prayers for healing of his heart, as well as keeping the rest of your family in our prayers for the comfort and understanding that can only come from God.

Isaac,
What a precious, brave boy you are! I love your recent picture, just looking content with peace in your eyes. Only God can grant that kind of peace and serenity in this situation! We have so much to learn from you and your faithful parents!
Lord, we lift up the entire Leino family and keep praying for your miracle of healing. Lord, may your will be done and may Isaac's story of faith, hope and perseverance continue to bless thousands around the world and bring us closer to You! Amen

What seems like the end of something will be the beginning of another.
