Touching Base...

We're home. We're grateful. And we're tired, so very tired.

Isaac's doing better: still on IM antibiotic meds (daily shots in his thighs) but looking great. He's had some sating issues over the past few days, so we're hoping & praying to figure them out & resolve them without another hospital visit.

To top it all of, Isaac is FOUR MONTHS OLD TODAY!!!!! Happy birthday, Champ! We're so proud of you.

Happy Birthday Isaac! We wish we could come over and give you a big kiss on those chunky cheeks, but with the germs I'm sure my kids pick up, we probably won't see you until you are 4.

Also, welcome home! I am making dinner for you guys sometime in the next week, so if you have a preferred meal, call Martha...she's the cook in the family. :-) Haha Just kidding. I can follow a recipe though, and if Betty Crocker can make it, so can I.

Thanks for the update! We will continue to pray for Isaac.

Welcome home...again! Glad that Isaac is able to be back home where he belongs, although I know the Glen procedure is right around the corner to work on his heart some more. Praying for you Jordan and Patience, that you'll be able to make the most of these days at home with him before his second heart surgery.

Happy 4 month birthday Isaac!

We love you. We are so glad that you are back home again. We will continue to pray for you as you enter our thoughts throughout each day. It is OK to feel weary. It is OK to feel at times that this is too big for you to handle. God has carried you this far, and He will continue to carry you through. There is such a freedom in letting go. He is our rest. He is our strength. He is our joy. He is our freedom. As you lay down your lives, your cares, your desires, your frustrations, your questions, your fears, your love for your son each day, the Lord is living more and more through you. You are a beautiful testimony of His Life.
We love you so much,
Brian & Kim

Praise God for all He does! Welcome back home - may you all get some much needed rest and comfort. Happy 4months sweet boy Isaac - and thank you, lil guy, for all you've done and shown us in this world. You are too young to realize how you've already impacted people by our witnessing your journey but one day you'll see. The Leino family brings forth showing that All Things are Possible with God. May y'all continue to be abundantly blessed which in turn is blessing all of us with helping us to stay close to God as we all lean on Him with prayers and praise.
