38.5 weeks and counting...

Here's the latest: We had our final visit w/Dr. Strauss today before Isaac's grand entrance to the world. I'm still 1 cm & 100% effaced, having more contractions each day...and night. In light of Isaac's heart condition & all the doctors needed in the delivery room at the time of birth, we've set the induction date: Monday, February 26th. However, in the words of Dr. Strauss, he will be quite surprised if we actually make it to that date. Isaac's very low already & these loverly Braxton Hicks contractions continue to transition into the real deal.

So within the next 7 days, Isaac Jordan Leino will be here!!! Thank you all for your prayers & encouragement through this journey. We're still trusting God, asking for a miracle healing of his heart - whatever form that may take. We'll keep you posted over the next week of our progress. Hopefully we'll be back to UNC sooner than later! :)

I am so happy for you guys and can't believe he will be here so soon! God is awesome and as long as we continue to put him first everything will be fine. Love you guys.

I know these last few days will seem like they are in slow motion-you will stop at every twinge, every hiccup...and Jordan will be a mess and hovering like every new father-to-be is supposed to be even though he denies he is!! Birth is a scary, yet exciting miracle, and Issac will be the star of the show! Part of you wants to keep him safe inside, but the other part of you wants to kiss his beautiful face! We are all praying for you guys and know that God is good and will be with you all the way-start to finish!

My Jayme is hoping he is born on her birthday (the 24th)! That would be way cool!

We love ya guys!

Patience and Jordan, you both humble me as you continue to trust God for Isaac; as has been said regarding an Isaac who has gone before, "Jehovah-jirah, will provide what is necessary." We know that He will again provide what is necessary for your/our Isaac.
Love, Mom
