its a beautiful day!

Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow!!

Jordan & I received a phone call late yesterday afternoon that the full amnio report had come in & we could call the doctor first thing in the morning to discuss the results. Well, after a long, sleepless, prayer-filled night, we made the call this morning.

The entire amnio report came back NORMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, Lord!!! Now we know for sure that other than his heart, our little boy is perfect & healthy! An who knows, there may be more miracles to report in the days ahead! This news honestly came as quite a shock to our family & doctor, as his case of HLHS is so severe. What a blessing! Now we can move forward with surgery plans without the worry of other possible complications.

Thank you for your continued prayers & words of encouragement. Though this journey has not looked anything like we thought it would, God is showing His mighty hand & great love for us every step of the way!

Give thanks to the Lord, our great God & King. His love endures FOREVER!!!

Praise God!!! You two have just been a wonderful testimony to me on the power of prayer and what it truly means to trust in Him, even when the present situation doesn't seem to be heading in the right direction. Thank you for encouraging me to continue to being a praying parent for my children....Mike

It is incredible to have front row seats to the Miracles that God is performing through this child...but also through Patience and Jordan's faithful trust that the Lord has it all and that through this journey many around the world would come to know our Savior and that God hears the prayers of His people.

Awesome news! God is good!

Hope

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune--without the words,
And never stops at all,

And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.

I've heard it in the chillest land,
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.

We love you guys!

The most amazing aspect of this entire ordeal is not the good news about Baby Leino. What is most amazing, rather, is Patience and Jordan's complete FAITH that God is in control and their TRUST that everyday will be another miracle for Baby Leino. God knew just what he was doing when he chose you two as parents. Baby Leino was blessed before he was ever born. In the face of darkness, you two shine as an example of what most of us could only hope to be. Thanks for being such an inspiration and reminding all of us that God deserves first place in our lives. There is power in prayer. Praise God!!
We love all three of you....Barbie, David & Cohen

Much prayer is being lifted up for you in New England. We miss you and are excited for what God is doing in your mist. Jordan, I just listened to my CD "Jordan Leino Live @ Camp Carl" the other day and was reminded of how gifted you are at pointing people to the Lord. God must be using you two powerfully in NC. In Him - josh & becky

Praise God! You two have shown and continue to show such great trust and faith in the Lord. When most of us would have been doubtful, you guys were certain in Christ that a miracle would happen. You two are such an inspiration to us all. I am thrilled to hear this news and know that God is not done with "Baby J". I just feel as though another miracle is right around the corner. We just love you guys to pieces and cannot wait to meet "Baby J." Loving you and praying for you....Andy, Erin & Kids.

You are in my prayers and I wanted to pass along something that was passed on to me when I needed it:
Tomorrow's Gold
Yesterday was perfect
today that's not quite so,
the sun has slipped behind the hill
and lost its golden glow.
I asked about the reason,
why hard times have to be,
why God in his great wisdom,
does He not care for me?
God doesn't make us stumble
but He will help us up.
He'll walk along beside us
until we're strong enough.
And so, around some wooded bend,
not too far down the road,
the sun will rise above the hill
again life turns to gold.

I remember that moment all too well - the feeling that, "Thank god, it's just his heart. We can handle that."

HLHS mama here. Did a search for other HLHS blogs out there.

I'm thinking of you. Please email me if you want to talk.
